When
starting this assignment, there were a few big idea investigations that
intrigued me. However, while narrowing down my choices, I came across a
kindergarten teacher's Pinterest account. http://www.pinterest.com/darlamyers/. It
is through her Pinterest board that led me to a blog she uses in order to
document the different investigations that are conducted within her classroom. http://mrsmyerskindergarten.blogspot.ca/2013/11/pumpkins-investigaion.html. This kindergarten teacher
had a variety of investigations that had taken place during the school year in
her classroom. There was an investigating which caught my eye. This
investigating had to do with children exploring the life cycle of a pumpkin.
